The Canopy Piloting School (CPS) was founded by Jim Slaton in 2000 who achieved a multitude of industry accomplishments including the creation of a complete canopy piloting training program for all levels and the first factory swoop team “Team Extreme”. Previous CPS students include a list of champions and organizations like the US Navy Seals “Leap Frogs” and the US Army “Golden Knights” with others who wish to stay unnamed.
The CPS continues the excellence in training by expanding its program with online "cyber" coaching, an accelerated beginner course and a unique "one of a kind" training opportunity at the Ground Launch Center in California.
